We assist our partners and customers with our expertise in earth observation (EO) and information technology (IT) to create current and future-oriented benefits for society and environment.
Together with internal and external experts from our cooperation network we close the gap between research and practice to drive the operational use of EO data. EODC as a strong partner offers EO-tailored IT infrastructure and tools for the scientific, public and private sector. Through profound knowledge of IT and EO we provide the basis to create societal benefits in the areas of environmental and climate monitoring, agricultural applications, infrastructure management, and humanitarian aid and civil security.
The EODC expertise is built upon
- Access to a Peta-byte scale EO Data Repository hosting actual, near-real-time as well as historic Copernicus Sentinel data,
- IT services based on the EODC Cloud and High Performance Computing infrastructure, both co-located with the EO Data Repository,
- State-of-the art EO data and EO focused Toolbox environments, and
- A Cooperation network connecting experts from the scientific, public and private sector.
Within EODC we are a team of highly motivated, well-interacting and skilled professionals. The staff comprises individuals with long-standing backgrounds in Earth observation sciences, as well as proven track-records in management and coordination of interdisciplinary projects and intercultural teams.
